Close collaboration for a bold brand refresh

As a leader in identity security services for the modern cloud enterprise, SailPoint is growing fast—but their website wasn’t doing a good job of telling users what they do. The company had a strong brand team that had begun a brand refresh when they realized they needed help executing their vision for the website. They turned to Clear Digital to redesign their site, including building out a full digital content library, to make it clean, simple, and clear, and to help launch their new brand into the world.

Clear, consistent, and impactful graphics

The SailPoint brand team knew which direction they wanted to go visually. Working collaboratively, the Clear Digital team developed a comprehensive sitewide design system, including icons and graphics. We also designed a new product mock-up style that highlights key pieces of information, making it easier for users to understand what products do. Plus, implementing consistent visual style helps to boost the brand’s overall visibility—a key goal.

Spreading brand awareness

SailPoint needed a video that would highlight their new brand—and they needed it fast. We worked closely with their design team to bring the brand story to life, from concept and rapid-fire storyboarding to expert voiceover and animation. The 60-second video boldly announces SailPoint’s new identity.

Mapping out the product marketecture

To help users understand what SailPoint does, we designed a standout product marketecture graphic that’s featured prominently on their homepage. With the platform layer forming the foundation, it provides a clear picture of how SailPoint’s products and vertical capabilities work together to enable identity security across a wide range of touchpoints and locations.

Systematic style

As part of making the website easier to navigate and understand, we created a full design system for SailPoint in Figma, encompassing all styles and components. Guidelines including detailed specs and usage guidance will to help ensure consistency going forward and make life easier for their creative teams.

Ready for any screen

To meet the needs of enterprise cloud users and ensure an optimal UX on any size screen or device, we designed each webpage for both desktop and mobile, as well as for larger screens with higher resolution.

Targeting top of funnel visitors

Lack of understanding around what SailPoint products do was a key driver of the website redesign. To make it easier to both understand and navigate the website, we rearchitected their content to focus on engaging top of funnel visitors, introducing the concept of “Why SailPoint” early in the journey, and then creating user flows to guide them through the funnel.

Clean layout meets clear narrative

SailPoint wanted a scannable layout, reflecting the clean simplicity of sites like Microsoft and Asana. With education being the primary goal followed by lead generation, we set out to create a more logical narrative for customers and prospects, balancing out the two while creating consistency. Working closely with the SailPoint’s UX team, we created wireframes that achieved this balance, defined the layout for all pages, and provided best practices.

Putting site performance under the microscope

To help SailPoint understand how well the site is performing, we mapped out a new analytics approach and implemented full scale tracking to measure engagement across all CTAs, assets, navigation clicks, promo blades, and forms. Using an interactive dashboard, the SailPoint team can easily access a wide range of KPI reports and tools to slice and dice deep analytics data by region, event, or content. The result? A data-driven experience that continually improves performance.
